About Us
Tallahassee Outpatient Surgery Center (TOSC) is a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty outpatient surgery facility that provides a safe, convenient and comfortable experience for patients seeking non-emergency surgery. The TOSC is an affordable alternative to traditional in-patient care involving overnight hospitalization.
The TOSC opened for business in 1992 and became part of the Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation family in 1994. TOSC’s track record of success led to the opening of a second location nearby – at Capital Medical Commons – in 2003.
Our surgery expertise includes orthopedics, oral surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology and plastic surgery, as well as pain management.
We are licensed by the state of Florida and approved by the federal Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services.
TOSC also maintains accreditation status through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
